Here's a small update on what has been going on in me and Luke's life in the past 5 months..
In August we adopted a rescue puppy from the Regina's Humane Society. Her name is Aspen and is such a bundle of joy. She is a wire haired fox terrier crossed with a border collie so she naturally has too much energy to contain in her medium body and loves anything that moves. She is absolutely fearless and will befriend anyone. We have really come to enjoy her company and presence around the house. She is now 6 months and continues to grow! She's my furry baby.
Luke had started a new job with Sasktel International in October organizing fiber-optic cabling communications for Regina and the surrounding cities. I don't really know exactly what that looks like but I know that there are quite a few processes to complete a certain job. He enjoys working in an office much more then outside as he had done last winter which was just plain cold. It's different then plumbing but he is enjoying it much more.
I am still working at Regina Soccer Association as the Coordinator of League Operations which has been more then stressful at times but at the end of the day I like coming to work. I over see the adult and youth leagues and make sure they run smoothly, which includes scheduling games, taking bookings, and maintaining any questions or inquiries about the league. I really enjoy the company of my co-workers and the over all atmosphere. I have been extremely blessed to work at a job that I'm actually passionate about.
Since the fall we have been highly involved in our church The Compass. We help run a youth group in the north end of the city on Friday nights which has been great. I have also been involved in a worship team this fall which is something I really enjoy. Luke helps with set up on Sunday mornings as our church is mobile and we meet in a school gym ever Sunday. We are also going to our GPS missional group that Luke part-time leads. We have been so blessed by our church family and the relationships that have been able to form in the last couple months.
We got to spend Christmas at my parents place this year which was wonderful to spend time with loved ones. Spending time playing games, relaxing by the tree and wrapping my cat in wrapping paper is always great. We really enjoyed snowboarding in Kimberley BC even if the conditions were not ideal. Still better then Saskatchewan hills!
Me and Luke have been married for almost a year and a half which has seemed to fly by. Luke is seriously the funniest person I know and I love that he can always can make me laugh. We have definitely gotten to know how to work with one another through times of hardship and times of plenty. I love growing along side Luke as he is a wonderful leader for our family. I has been an absolute privilege to love Luke and come along side him even when we don't always get along. I might not think that in the moment.. haha but I look back know that God has his divine hand in our relationship. I am so thankful for him and the godly man that he is and is becoming.
In February we are planning a trip to Florida with the Fonatine family. We are so excited as none of us nine have been there before or for a very long time. We will be going to Disney World, Universal Studios and Busch Gardens to name a few and cannot wait.

Again this is just a small lil snippit of what has been going on in our lives lately. We cannot wait for what this next year holds as we continue to live life in Regina. Who knows what the Lord will do!
