This past weekend me and Luke made the treck out to Millar College of the Bible to visit with friends at the basketball alumni tournament. We did not actually participate in the tournament. Luke would have done well playing but basketball has never been my forte. Haha.

It was so wonderful being able to see old friends from our years at Millar and also connect with some people I hadn't really talked to when I was there. It was so neat to see how God is working in that place! I realized how important it is to keep in touch with those that we care about. It's so hard when your friends don't live in the same area as you. I wish they just lived across the hall like they used to; I could just pop into their room and say hi, instead of driving hours to see them. But, those reunions are so sweet when you do get see each other!

We came home from Millar being so thankful for our basement suite and our puppy. It's so nice to call a place home and to be able to go back together as a married couple. I am so thankful for all that I have! I am also thankful for the time we spent at Millar which shaped and molded us into becoming the people we are today. If it wasn't for that place I would not be where I am today.

All in all I had a wonderful weekend even if I'm extremely sleep depraved, it was worth it!
