This past weekend me and Luke made the treck out to Millar College of the Bible to visit with friends at the basketball alumni tournament. We did not actually participate in the tournament. Luke would have done well playing but basketball has never been my forte. Haha. It was so wonderful being able to see old friends from our years at Millar and also connect with some people I hadn't really talked to when I was there. It was so neat to see how God is working in that place! I realized how important it is to keep in touch with those that we care about. It's so hard when your friends don't live in the same area as you. I wish they just lived across the hall like they used to; I could just pop into their room and say hi, instead of driving hours to see them. But, those reunions are so sweet when you do get see each other! We came home from Millar being so thankful for our basement suite and our puppy. It's so nice to call a place home and to be able to go back together
Here's a small update on what has been going on in me and Luke's life in the past 5 months.. In August we adopted a rescue puppy from the Regina's Humane Society. Her name is Aspen and is such a bundle of joy. She is a wire haired fox terrier crossed with a border collie so she naturally has too much energy to contain in her medium body and loves anything that moves. She is absolutely fearless and will befriend anyone. We have really come to enjoy her company and presence around the house. She is now 6 months and continues to grow! She's my furry baby. Luke had started a new job with Sasktel International in October organizing fiber-optic cabling communications for Regina and the surrounding cities. I don't really know exactly what that looks like but I know that there are quite a few processes to complete a certain job. He enjoys working in an office much more then outside as he had done last winter which was just plain cold. It's different then plumbin
