Happy Belated Easter! Me and Luke spent this past long weekend mostly at home as Luke has been sick with pneumonia. Poor guy. :'( We did end up doing a couple things like go to the new Batman vs. Superman movie, but his energy levels have not been up since a week ago. Today he seems to be doing quite a bit better but will be off work until Thursday. I'm glad he will be getting the rest he needs. Im just praying that the pneumonia stays away from me which can be pretty serious for me and baby. Another milestone for me, 30 weeks is here! Baby is the size of a cabbage this week but I personally think she feels bigger! She is close to 16 inches and weighs around 3 lbs. I have only 10 weeks left (give or take) and I can't believe how fast this third trimester is going. Not too much has changed from last week. My belly continues to stretch and she continues to move which is reassuring that everything is going smoothly. I do have another OB appointment this week on Thursday
29 weeks was already 2 days ago! I can't believe it, I feel like I was just 10 weeks yesterday! Baby is the size of a cauliflower, 2.5lbs and 15 inches long! She is definitely getting big! My pregnancy app told me today that a baby at this stage cannot feel pain, temperature or touch which is a total lie! It kind of bothered me actually. She totally knows and reacts to when I put my hand on my tummy or when I drink a cold drink. The article kind of came across like babies aren't able to do much at this stage which did not sit well with me. Babies are very much able to survive with assistance at this point if they are born premature and definitely respond to pain and touch. Silly pregnancy app... haha!  Not too much has changed this week.. Baby is still moving lots and the "rolling" sensation has become a lot more common then just kicks and punches which can be very uncomfortable. I cant imagine what this will feel like when she is full term! Since my uterus is growi
28 Weeks! We are officially there! The third trimester and it feels so good! Well, it feels good to be in the last stretch, my body on the other hand, is not feeling so good. haha Baby is the size of a large eggplant at this point and is about 14.5 inches and 2.2lbs. She is getting big and I can definitely feel her growing! These past two weeks I have felt so many more big movements like rolling and pushing which is new. I still feel the kicks and punches but it's the big movements that are getting uncomfortable. I was actually on a sick leave from work for the past 10 days which was because my braxton hicks contractions had been getting stronger and more frequent due to stress. I took the time to rest, emotionally and physically and God totally knew I needed the break from my busy life just for a little while. I was able to get things done that I had been procrastinating for months and that also felt good to have some time to do those things. Me and Luke were also able to trav
26 weeks! Baby is 14 inches and the size of a coconut! She is moving a lot this week like normal but I definitely think that she is going through a growth spurt as I looked through my bump pictures. Even from 24 weeks I'm for sure bigger. So I have been finding that my Braxton Hicks have only really been happening at work when I get stressed out. I do have a doctors appointment this week so I will be asking her if this is something to be concerned about as I really want to be cautious and take care of myself and baby.  Hip pain has been something I experience everyday this past week and it has even woken me up in the night.😓 I'm really hoping that this is something that will subside or become less irritable. I'm guessing it won't but it would be nice as I sit almost all day and I think moving around would help. I think I need to be stretching more now then ever to releave the pain.  I am starting to feel tired again as I feel the energy boost from the secon
