34 weeks has arrived and I could not imagine feeling more uncomfortable then I am right now. Whatever I am doing; standing, sitting, laying down, I just cannot get comfortable. My body is definitely feeling the weight of our growing girl. She is now the size of a cantaloupe and is around 17.7 inches and 4.2 lbs. For this next stretch until birth she will be gaining around .5lbs per week. Yikes, I can't imagine getting any bigger then I am now! Haha! This past week was kind of a crazy one. Not too much has changed since last weeks post with the baby or me but my work situation has now changed. I am officially done work! I was asked to on my maternity leave early; early as in starting today, April 25th. I actually will not be starting my maternity leave officially until May 13th which was my original last day of work. So I will be getting paid my normal wage until then! :)  Leaving work was for sure bitter sweet for me. I do really enjoy working with those people and not seei
I have officially made a baby pool! I think this is such a fun idea to get family and friends a little bit more involved in this pregnancy! If you would like to make a "hunch" follow this link! http://www.babyhunch.com/poolpage.php?poolid=c028e3889b7cd070a00c09c0ff08ae09 Good luck and may the best guesser win!
33 weeks people! Only 7 weeks left (hopefully)! :) Baby is the size of a pineapple this week and is about 17 inches and just over 4 lbs. I can definitely feel her growing this week and it seems I wake up in the morning and my belly is bigger than the day before! I have really felt the stretches of my skin this past week but so far no stretch marks! The way I'm feeling I know that they should be showing up pretty quick here. I think this past week I have felt the most uncomfortable so far. No matter what I am doing my body complains and so sleeping has also proved to be difficult for me lately. I really don't like complaining about being pregnant because I know that so many would love to be in my position. I need to continue to be grateful for this experience and hold onto the good things about carrying our baby. In that moment of pain and discomfort it's hard to be thankful. I know I will need to remind myself of the joys of this process in the next coming weeks as my OB
We have less than eight weeks to go! I am now currently 32 weeks along as of Sunday and I think that baby girl is getting just as excited as me! She seems to move quite a bit and now has a cycle of movements. She is moving at around 10am - 11am, 3pm-4pm, 6pm - 7pm and at around 10pm - 11pm. I haven't been kept awake because of her movements and since I seem to be so tired lately, when I get to sleep it seems like I don't wake for anything. I have been waking up in the night though, usually around 2 am and I have no idea why as I don't have to go to the bathroom or baby isn't waking me up. I guess it's my body getting ready for those night feedings. haha She is about 16.7 inches and is close to 4 lbs! She is for sure growing and I feel it big time. I have been in a lot more discomfort this past week as my tummy feels very heavy. Baby is sitting very low so my lower back is also killing me, it's very painful to stand for too long. I find when I am walking I am
Another week has flown by and 31 weeks is here. We are into the single digits until baby! She is the size of a broccoli stalk this week, 16.6 inches and 3.5ish lbs. I had an OB appointment last week and everything is on track and my health is good. I have good blood pressure and my weight gain is also steady. She is still head down which she has been even before 19 weeks. I'm praying she stays this way and doesn't decide to flip at the last second. I am SO thankful that I have not gotten pneumonia from Luke and as of yesterday he is now cleared to go back to work! Praise the Lord! He is still feeling some of the symptoms which is normal but his lungs are better and he should be 100% in a couple days. :) My belly is feeling VERY heavy and so my back has started to complain again. Just the way I am carrying, it will naturally put stress on my back. I am all in the front and I feel like I now almost have a basketball in there as I feel her growing everyday. My dreams have st
